A captivating property nestled in the serene village of Megalochori, a true gem in the heart of Santorini. Spanning 400 square meters, this estate offers an ideal location, just a stroll away from the charming village square. Here, you’ll discover an array of quaint tavernas, shops, a mini market, and a locally renowned bakery. With its central setting, the property allows for easy access to all parts of the island, including the Caldera, Fira, Oia, Amoudi Bay, and the beautiful beaches of Perissa and Kamari.

Dating back to the 17th century, The Estate,  once exported its wine across the Aegean. The property’s historical charm is evident in the slightly sloping floors, a feature designed to guide the natural flow of wine into large pits in the ground known as “muster pits.” Today, these centuries-old pits are visible beneath glass, capable of supporting up to 300kg of weight. Many original features, such as the old metal pulley used to hoist barrels onto the backs of donkeys for transport, still adorn the living room. Furnished with care and attention to detail, the property comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests in complete privacy.

The main house, with 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeps 10 guests. It boasts a spacious fully equipped kitchen, a lounge, and a dining area with an open fireplace to accommodate all guests comfortably. The lounge features a flat-screen TV, Netflix, and a DVD player, offering entertainment for indoor nights. Laundry facilities, linen, and beach towels are provided.

Additionally, The Suite is a fully equipped, self-contained cavern house designed for 2 guests. It includes a bathroom with a jacuzzi, a kitchenette, a dining terrace, and its own entrance off the pool terrace—perfect for romantic nights in.

The estate features three large private terraces: The Pool Terrace, complete with a 40-square-meter pool, loungers, and a pagoda; The Roof Terrace, featuring a pagoda, hammock, loungers, and a dining area—ideal for sun worshipping or siestas in the shade; and The Main Terrace, equipped with a double built-in barbecue, a dining space for 12 guests, and a cozy seating area with shade. All terraces offer breathtaking views of local vineyards, family churches in the village, ancient windmills of Vlychada, and the Aegean Sea beyond—creating the perfect setting for relaxation, dining, and entertaining.
