Vari (Greek: Βάρη) is a suburban municipality 25 km south of Athens center.

Vari is locally known for its many grill taverns. Year 2004, just in time for the Olympic Games, unofficially “highway” GR-85, 2 lanes in each direction, was declared opened. This “highway” is a part of the south west connection between Athens and the new airport, Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, which opened earlier in 2001. The road is also linking Voula, Vari and Koropi and has access roads to Attiki Odos which gives fast access to all Athens area, Piraeus harbor and National road.
