This is where buyers who intend to spend real time on Rhodes, rather than three summer weeks, tend to settle.<\/p>

Lindos.<\/strong> The island’s prestige address and its tightest market. Captains’ mansions inside the village, and villas on the slopes above Vlycha and Pefkos with views back to the acropolis. Building is heavily restricted in and around the village, which is exactly why values here have held so well.<\/p>

Pefkos, Kiotari and the south-east.<\/strong> Where most new villa construction is happening: modern four- and five-bedroom houses with pools, sea views and a short drive to beaches, at a fraction of Cycladic prices. The strongest rental performance on the island.<\/p>

Afandou and Archangelos.<\/strong> Quieter, more Greek, anchored by the island’s eighteen-hole golf course. Larger plots and older stone houses, popular with buyers who want space and a village around them.<\/p>

The west coast and the interior.<\/strong> Ialysos down through Theologos to Monolithos, and inland to Embona, Salakos and Apollona. Wind, pine forest, vineyards and olive groves.
